Racket restringing
Just because it hasn't snapped, doesn't mean its not lifeless...
Give your game a boost and get some new strings on your racket!
With a multitude of string types and combinations to choose from, your racket will be restored in no time with extra bite and bounce to each shot!
Strings should be changed as many times per year as you play per week (so if you play twice a week, they should be changed twice a year).
Many strings are very durable and don't snap easily - so they may seem fine to play with! But strings can lose their tension, degrade and become ineffective and possibly cause an injury.
Here's a basic guide to string, for more info drop Coach Sam a message.
-
Natural Gut → Best feel & comfort, but pricey.
-
Synthetic Gut → Budget-friendly, all-rounder.
-
Polyester → Spin & control, durable, but tough on the arm.
-
Multifilament → Comfort & power, arm-friendly alternative to gut.
Some players even hybrid strings (e.g., gut in the mains for feel + poly in the crosses for durability) to balance performance. Hybrids can consist of the same material of string but different shapes, brands or even tensions.
