Tournaments & Championships!

​Entry opens on 1st of June and closes 6:00pm on the 21st of June.

£5.50 per singles entry, £11 per doubles entry (this covers both players! so don't enter yourselves twice). Funds will go directly into helping purchase trophies and awards.

 

Competitors will be organised into tournament formats based on the number of entries for each competition (group based, knock out, round robin, compass draw…).

 

Competitors will be able to view their matches and results online - Sam will also notify competitors of their next match.

 

Competitors are responsible for organising their own matches, and are expected to do so in a timely manor as to complete all group/pre finals day matches BEFORE August 23rd so that finals day can be planned effectively. 

 

All match scores MUST be reported within 24 hours of match completion to Sam on 07378838232.

 

Opposing players are to agree on one of the following match formats when arranging matches (all allow for various time availabilities/commitments):

 

1. Best of 3 "fast four" sets: first to four games per set, sudden death deuce where returner gets to decide left or right hand side, no set tie break, tie break to 10 at 1 set all.

2. First to 1 full traditional set: must win by 2 clear games at 5-5 (7-5 or 5-7), at 6-6 match tie break to 10

3. Best of 3 sets to 6 games: sudden death deuce where returner gets to decide left or right hand side, no set tie break (can win the set 6-5), match tie break to 10 at 1 set all.
